Glenn Barr studied at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit and has made a name for himself within the world of lowbrow art. Barr’s contributions can be seen in several comic books and television shows, including “The Ren and Stimpy Show”, as well as in the music video for Bjork’s I Miss You. Barr often works with acrylic on wood or occasionally mansonite. Barr’s erotic images are set in a surreal and often sleezy 1960’s environment with the familiarity of pop culture twisted into discomfort. His paintings have been featured in Juxtapoz, Juxtapoz Erotica, and Film Threat Magazine.
