Richard Biffle

Artist Biography:

Richard Biffle, born in California in 1964, moved to Japan with his family as a child before returning to the United States and attending the Art Institute of Atlanta. Biffle was inspired by album art as a youth and later sold his artwork while following the Grateful Dead on tour. Biffle utilizes a variety of mediums including oils, acrylics, pastels, and computers. He is most well known for his poster art, working with bands such as Rat Dog, Phil Lesh, Yonder Mountain, Widespread Panic, Gov’t Mule, The Black Crows, Little Feat, and Hot Tuna.
