The Gallery 4 is pleased to welcome The Redfishbowl Collective. To kick off the New Year (and our 6th year of business!) The Gallery 4 has invited Redfishbowl to join us in the celebration by sharing some beautiful artwork and wonderful performances. Redfishbowl is a collective of artists and musicians, which aims to display a versatile spread of styles, and genres within venues. Gathering different artists from all mediums and techniques to encompass a full spectrum of talent, the result was Redfishbowl being a concoction of unique artists across the board, tracing from roots in traditional and digital medias and a broad range of styles: Sci-fi, cartoonist, surrealist, pop, and street art . Redfishbowl started in the winter of 2013, and throughout the process of putting on shows their network has continued to grow organically. Regularly curating showcases with over forty visual artists, three bands, and ten live painters gives them the opportunity to have several artists join the collective, and to bring together a network of artists, and musicians. Redfishbowl continues to put together events throughout the city of Pittsburgh. Founder, Christopher Boles states, “we strive to intertwine art with music to elicit a convivial atmosphere for everyone to get comfortably lost within the paint and sound.” Redfishbowl’s drive is to provide a platform for artists and musicians to cultivate, flourish and unify.
